I’m Başak Dinç, a Turkish artist based in Paris.

Currently pursuing an MFA in Photography & Image Making at Paris College of Art. Before that, I studied Cinema and Television in Istanbul, which might explain why I’m drawn to moments that feel like they belong to a film that was never made.

I’m interested in absence, memory, and the quiet tension of what resists being fully expressed.

I work with images and text, moving between the two. Sometimes I write. Sometimes I photograph. Mostly, I try to hold onto what is already slipping away.
